Jaime Benedetty, VP of IT infrastructure
Jaime Benedetty is a solutions oriented IT Executive assisting organizations in solving highly complex IT Infrastructure problems. He has effectively lead various consulting and operational teams in multiple disciplines that include Data Center Operations, IT security, Network and System Architecture, Data Center/Cloud Migrations, Due Diligence Assessments, IT infrastructure strategy development, and IT infrastructure management.
As VP of IT infrastructure Innovation for BridgeView Partners, Jaime has demonstrated outstanding leadership abilities and accountability for directing all phases of Infrastructure transformation projects and operations. In quickly identifying opportunities that improve efficiencies, he provides strategic guidance on investments that demonstrate ROI, operation performance improvements, and innovation.
Recently, Jaime lead the development of a 2-year infrastructure strategy and roadmap for a large, complex manufacturing company after doubling in size through an M&A event. Jaime facilitated an IT Infrastructure workshop which lead them to the creation of IT strategies and infrastructure roadmaps. The outcome provided the customer with the plan to rationalize IT systems, integrate with the business, and transform into a highly available cloud-based Infrastructure.
Jaime also performed an infrastructure due diligence assessment as part of an interdisciplinary team of experts that investigated the validity and scalability of an educational testing company. His responsibilities included assessing hardware infrastructure, backup and recovery, network security, and cyber security. Jaime was
integral to the delivery of the report on time and on budget. In addition, Jaime recently developed a due diligence and integration framework that facilitated the discovery and reporting of integration opportunities after an M&A event. Earlier this year he led the due diligence efforts for a technology services company and is currently working on the creation of an integration roadmap that will be utilized as the foundation of all future M&A for the organization.
As Director of IT Enterprise Services at Altegra Health, Jaime spearheaded the development of a data center/ cloud strategy that consolidated all of their computing environments, including their multinational data centers, and cloud environments in AWS and Azure. The strategy accounted for adequate disaster recover capabilities, a migration roadmap for their telephony system, improved DevOps capabilities, and resultantly achieved a 25% reduction to their monthly operating cost. Jaime was also responsible for the creation of the migration plans from all the datacenters into the selected hybrid cloud infrastructure and managed the project teams that were responsible for the migration as well as the vendor selection process and contract negotiations.
During his 8-year tenure at Altegra Health, the organization grew tenfold through various mergers and acquisitions, and Jaime lead the consolidation and integration of the IT infrastructure and their IT security preparedness initiatives. His strategic choices in the utilization of cloud computing to host their next generation payment solution platforms contributed to the valuation of almost 1 billion dollars when acquired by Emdeon in late 2015.
Jaime has various certifications to include Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist in Exchange 2010, CISSP, and holds a BS in Business Administration from Florida State University.
